Ik praat al een tijdje over patchwork en quilten, maar tot nu toe komt er weinig van. Ik heb een drukke baan waarvoor ik thuis nog veel moet werken, maar dat is niet het hele excuus. Het eigenlijke excuus is dat ik mijn naaimachine wel uit de kast gehaald heb, maar ik ben het pedaal kwijt. Het zou normaal er bij moeten zitten, maar dat is niet zo. Waarschijnlijk ligt het onder in die kast. Maar dat is zo'n zooi, dat ik nog niet de moed opgebracht heb, om er te zoeken.
Nou lijkt het wel alsof ik nog niets met stofjes gedaan heb, maar ook dat is niet helemaal juist. Ik heb een aantal hand-projectjes ter hand genomen. Zoals deze, de beroemde krans van Bep. Helemaal met de hand gemaakt. Hij hangt nog steeds te pronk in de kamer, en ik ben er dan geweldig trots op. De kleurtjes zijn echt geweldig.
For some time I talk about patchwork, but so far I did not patch a lot. I have a very busy job, with lots of work for that job at home, but that's not the whole thing. The main thing is that I found my sewing machine, but lost the foot-pedal (hope this is the right word). It should be at the same place, but that's a real mess. And I did not have the courage to clean it up. (nor the time).
So it looks like I didn't do anything with fabric, but that's also not true. I made some things by hand. Like this. It's completely handmade by me and I am very proud of it. It still hangs in our living room. I specially like the colours
En ik werd ook geïnspireerd door het bloghoofd van Goof. Niet haar eigen hoofd, maar de foto bovenaan haar blog. Bloghoofd dus, net als briefhoofd. Een krans met hartjes, zo leuk. Ik besloot het wat eenvoudiger te doen en een hartjesslinger te maken. En hier is ie dan, ook helemaal handgemaakt. Onderaan moet nog een dikke rode kraal komen, maar ik heb nog geen mooie gevonden.
I also got inspired by the blogheader of Goof. All those hearts, so cute. I decided to make this of the hearts. The bottom still needs a bil red pearl or something. But I did not find a nice one.
